What jobs shouldn’t or should be taken over by technology?

As you know technology has been taking over jobs. Like car factories have been involved with all of us. Some people say that technology helps to make jobs better but is taking them slowly. There are certain jobs that are too hard for people like the high class jobs not the middle class jobs. So what Jobs shouldn’t and should be taken over by technology.
A job that robots or technology has taken over for instance are car factories. People used to make cars and assemble them in Detroit for Ford GMC Chrysler. They all fired people or layed them off. This happened because the companies got technology and robots. I wouldn't blame them because you can control the robot to tighten the bolts or to place the windshields in. People you can’t control what they do or you can trust them all of the time.
Companies would have saved allot of money, if they kept people but instead they invested in technology. In the article “The unions didn’t bankrupt Detroit but good cars did” said, “Cars cost about 1500 dollars per car cost of union labors”. This helps get an amount in your head for about how much cars were in the 1900’s. Technology cost energy and electricity prices will rise with the more technology. Cars would cost more money to make in time because the materials would be better and stronger for the car. May people do not know what to do when they got fired or layed off all of these people didn't have another job because they were making good money at one job. They had bills to pay and a family to feed.
This issue has because big in this world and other jobs as well. This problem is with hospitals and phones. They are taking jobs and live day by day from the late 1900’s. Just because some jobs aren’t and are made for people. I believe that curtain jobs like doctors and janitors couldn't have their jobs taken because there is nothing that could take their spot.

Dear Editor- in Chief:

My name is Jakob Hemerick I am a Sophomore in Early College High School in Conway, South Carolina

I am writing to address the topic technology is taking over jobs. There have been many cases where this has happened. Do you think that technology is taking over the correct jobs for people? Although technology can do more why not teach citizens how to do more and be better at their jobs. If people don't act now to make their selves have jobs and technology will rule. Technology can take all of the middle class jobs like teaching, washing cars, and a cashier at a store. These might not be here in years to come. Why not have technology make jobs better and easier like computers to make power points to teach or radios to communicate better. People still need jobs to make the economy better. Technology helps not destroy, right?

Thank you so much for your time. I appreciate your help and hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely,

Jakob Hemerick

Narritive Poem

Where Did My Job Go?

When I first met my FRIEND
I was in a store
I paid so much for him I couldn’t pay anymore
I brought him home to play with and adore

We were, best friends for ever even when I got older
I finally got a JOB at a FACTORY store
Where they made big old boulders
I had great fun, it wasn’t in the sun
It was down in a big black hole

Work always pays of everyday
I had to pay my BILLS so my family could stay
My manager came up to me saying
I don’t need YOU any more
I have your friend to make my big blocks
Now I won't be able to buy my son any socks

No INCOME to spare
Although I didn’t DARE
To try to get back there
Because my job was in the hands of my best friend
They will be regretting that they LOST me
I was their HARDEST WORKER, but they don’t seem to care
My friend had a hard drive built in to him, with  no feelings to give
Because he was a ROBOT.

Now I have plenty of time to spare
To find a job but they are rare
Nobody wants to hire a person that gets fired

Now I admire
The one true friend of my life
Now comes the hardest part of all
Telling my WIFE
She wasn’t upset nor did she seem to care
Her eyes didn’t CROSS, although her nose didn’t FLARE
Instead she smiled
Then reached for my hand saying:
It may take awhile maybe not today or tomorrow but we will be okay

After all we have each other.
